Challenges.
- Porsche Informatik’s mission was to deliver innovative and agile services to market at a rapid pace. As part of this digitisation journey meeting the needs of a number of internal stakeholders was key.
- The business wanted to utilise public cloud as a way to significantly increase agility, opportunities for innovation, and security. As a solution partner for the automotive trading industry, have a highly effective scalable solution was vital. Porsche Informatik also wanted to empower their own technical staff to develop cloud skills during the process.

Cloud Enablement
Porsche Informatik’s journey to a solid Cloud Foundation, started with Nordcloud’s – Cloud Enablement Workshop. This workshop is designed to define the cloud governance model that will be used, support model & security policies to ensure that they align with best-practices and business demand.
Establish Environment
Based on the findings from the Cloud Enablement Workshop, a secure, highly automated and cost effective public cloud environment was built in Microsoft Azure, using Nordcloud’s pre-defined cloud foundation solutions.
Expert Upskilling
Throughout the deployment, Porsche Informatik’s experts were upskilled by Nordcloud’s team. This proved an effective and cost effective way to develop the skills required, where practical skills were taught to administer the foundation solution.

Nordcloud’s experts delivered an Azure cloud foundation, creating a robust, scalable and secure cloud environment. This was achieved with rapid and accurate delivery, built with close cooperation between Nordcloud and Porsche Informatik. As a result this now enables Porsche informatik’s expert employees to focus on their key daily projects.
