Currently, we're looking for a Cloud Advisor to join our growing team in Denmark. 

The Nordcloud Advisory team helps customers transform and evolve their business through the use of Public Cloud technologies. As part of an entrepreneurial team in this rapidly growing business, you will help shape the future of businesses of all sizes and use technology to connect with customers, employees and partners.

As a Cloud Advisor, you will bring your experience and thought leadership to help drive the customer strategy. Your goals are to deliver impactful, customer-relevant business outcomes and enable repeatable, low-friction solutions-based selling. You will develop short-mid-long term strategies by leading the delivery team.

You will interface directly with customers, helping them to both understand Nordcloud’s offerings and gathering their feedback. Your ultimate goal should be to guide and advise the customer while challenging the status quo.

You will be working closely with CxO level stakeholders, contributing vision to the customer’s cloud strategy and becoming a trusted technologist by developing the right solutions to meet the customers’ business needs. 

On a daily basis, you will perform the following tasks:

  • Work as a bridge between the customer’s vision and our delivery/tech experts
  • Lead both our internal teams and customers on the cloud journey - you are not afraid of challenging the status quo
  • Work together with the sales team to assist in building proposals for our customers
  • Run workshops and advise customers on cloud architectural decisions and best practices to ensure their solutions are designed for successful deployment
  • Support the Sales team during pre-sales engagements related to Cloud Migration and the Cloud Operating Model
  • Proactively share knowledge and coach other consultants working with the same customer/project
  • Establish close working relationships and become an advisor to CxOs in the customer organizations
  • Advise and help customers develop the next-generation applications that leverage the full potential of public cloud platforms
  • Facilitate the customer’s journey and translate business requirements to implement technical designs and solutions
  • Build technology roadmaps for customer organizations
  • Evangelize about technologies we use and contribute to our specialists' community
  • Plan migration of a substantial number of applications to a Public Cloud

We expect you to have the following background:

  • 5+ years cloud experience combined with experience working on large cloud initiatives and/or direct experience working IT transformations where Public cloud was a key enabler.   
  • Proven ability to inspire and lead teams to a timely project conclusion 
  • Experience working with senior-level stakeholders in both business and technology as well as internally and externally
  • Self-driven and detail-orientated. You take ownership and are accountable
  • Ability and motivation to identify new business opportunities
  • Highly technical and analytical, possessing significant hands-on experience of software development
  • Understanding, interest and willingness to improve knowledge of public Cloud technology and architecture (AWS, Azure or GCP) - we will provide you with training and possibility to conduct certificates during your employment
  • English language speaking/writing fluency - both business and technology. We operate internationally and you will have the opportunity to travel
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Seasoned with different agile methods/models and scrum and understands how to work in an agile manner on a scale. 
  • Capable of mentoring others on agile methods.

As we have varying opportunities to work internationally, traveling to customers the in Denmark and other locations in Europe will be a substantial part of your job.
