Job Role and Responsibilities - Senior Account/Engagement Director

Senior Account Directors (Engagement Directors) at Nordcloud focus on maximizing current relationships with some of our biggest accounts. These are called Emerald accounts. This will be achieved by mapping and connecting with key stakeholders with our biggest accounts. You will be serving as a strategic partner to high-level executives forging new business relationships for Nordcloud to take advantage of with our extensive portfolio.  

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for 3-5 key strategic accounts.
  • Growing and diversify revenue streams from existing largest strategic accounts.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the large enterprise key customer segment.
  • Develop and build relationships with C-level and senior executives at current and potential clients.
  • Ensure that current and new clients implement strategies that maximize Nordcloud's value proposition, including infrastructure, application, and consulting portfolio.
  • Manage key accounts with a focus on increased customer satisfaction, retention, and growth. 
  • Deliver on agreed revenue and profitability targets.
  • Provide thought leadership, inspiration, and motivation to all stakeholders, internal and external, to enhance Nordcloud's vision and industry position.
  • Work closely with our partners at Amazon web services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Provide timely and insightful market feedback to other functional teams including product management and marketing. 

Minimum requirements:

  • 5+ years’ B2B/B2B2C Sales experience within the area of IT Consulting / Technology.
  • Proven ability to Solution Sell, empathize and develop customized value propositions for clients and prospects.
  • Enterprise-level solution selling – knowing the complexities, politics, sales cycles, etc of large customers and solution selling.
  • A stellar track record of closing new business at or above quota.
  • Experience building strategic business partnerships with enterprise customers.
  • Experience from adopting the Challenger sales methodology in all client interactions.
  • Drive, passion, and team spirit. You own your own destiny, you make things happen. Occasional luck is great but we don’t rely on it but on hard, determined work.
  • Experience from working directly with C-level stakeholders and senior IT executives.
  • Experience with enterprise RFP and complex sales processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly changing environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred (Business, Engineering, Computer Sciences).
  • Customer-first attitude and experience in serving large-scale customers.

These things would be considered as a big plus:

  • Experience in Cloud Services technical offering, processes, and tools.
  • Public cloud experience (AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform).

The position will be based in London with a requirement to travel to attend client sites, conferences, and other engagements. You should be hands-on, no task is too small for you, and you thrive in an environment where the employees have the freedom to make their own decisions and always go the extra mile to deliver high-quality work.
