Sales Lead

To enable that growth, we're looking for a Sales Lead to join our world-class team and help our customers gain the maximum benefits of the cloud. 

In your role, you will make a significant contribution to the success of our customers and prospects by defining, selling, and jump-starting cloud solutions and projects around Infrastructure-, Data / Platform and Security Solutions and Services, Cloud Costs Management, and our trusted 24*7 Managed Services.

With your deep experience of at least one Hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP) in the Cloud and the Nordcloud solutions, you will be able to win new customers and extend the Business to existing customers. Leveraging Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud to deliver both infrastructure as well as Data-driven and IoT-related projects at speed has never been easier. 

 Your role will be a key driver in the following areas (and many more):

  • Driving determining sales growth, networking, and account development in large customer enterprise environments in Switzerland
  • Leading a local team of Sales 
  • Managing the end-to-end sales process of Nordcloud´s solutions and services and forecast
  • Delivering and exceeding the revenue targets
  • Providing timely and insightful market feedback to other functional teams including product management and marketing
  • Working closely with account teams and a partner organization of Microsoft, AWS, and Google 
  • Working closely with account teams of IBM Services

What do you need to be successful in this role:

We are particularly looking to hire someone who has a strong sales consulting approach and is a natural deal-maker. Additionally, we are looking for the following skills:

  • Fluent English and German/French/Italian
  • Direct sales experience within the area of IT solutions & consulting 
  • Knowledge of at least one of Public Cloud Platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS) and enterprise organizations in Switzerland (Minimum 5 years of experience in direct sales any of the hyperscalers - we will help you to gain multi-cloud expertise!)
  • Leadership experience
  • Proven network/relationship within the Swiss market
  • The motivation for learning about Public Cloud, AI, IoT services, and enthusiasm about the possibilities we can provide to our customers
  • Ability to consulting sell with a natural talent for customer focus, influencing and negotiation with people at all levels of seniority and responsibility, up to CxO of large enterprises
  • Ambitious and self-driven attitude – the ability to drive own sales and campaigns, and to create new contacts
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
