Portfolio Pricing & Margin Specialist

We're now looking for a Portfolio Pricing & Margin Specialist, responsible for designing, maintaining, improving, and advancing our global pricing policies, standards, and procedures 

Your daily work:

  • Setting a pricing strategy for each market we operate in on Professional Services, Managed Services and align with the Software as a Service team
  • Analyze and benchmark global competitive landscape w/ regards to pricing for Nordcloud’s portfolio 
  • Evaluate and assess “cost to serve” for Nordcloud portfolio items and derive competitive pricing patterns (i.e. Rate Cards, Managed Services fees)
  • Work with Global Portfolio & Offering teams in creating competitive pricing approaches for each portfolio item
  • Regularly monitor strategic margin vs. priced margin vs. delivered margin in projects and derive correcting actions
  • Align and train on Nordcloud’s pricing strategy with IBM overall costing, pricing & selling approach
  • Develop, maintain and advance global pricing policies, standards, and procedures for teams in Sales & Delivery

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Some years of experience and track record from working & selling in Professional Services organizations 
  • You are first and foremost business-minded and customer-centric, but you also understand the Public Cloud client benefits from a technology and delivery point of view.
  • You have a basic understanding and passion to further increase the knowledge of modern cloud-native technologies, digital design, IoT and data-driven solutions, and DevOps.
  • Experience and ability to apply a challenger sales approach to solutions sales in order to help initiate customer dialogues with business and IT stakeholders from top management to operational influencers. 
  • Past hands-on experience in productizing services for improved repeatability, scalability, and efficiency both on commercial and back-office layers.
  • First leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Structured and analytical way of working.
  • Excellent communication skills in English 
  • As a person, you are a team player and target-oriented.
