As the interest in our services is still growing up, our Managed Cloud team is growing. To extend the spectrum of our services we introduce you to the position of Managed Cloud Junior Engineer, who will be one of the key roles to maintain the quality of provided services and overall workflow. This role is specially designed for those, who are at the beginning of the cloud journey.

As a Managed Cloud Junior Engineer in Nordcloud Poland you will be:

  • Working in squads supporting 1st and 2nd line support 
  • Improving performance and availability of applications running in the public cloud
  • Handling monitoring, troubleshooting, debugging, and load testing of cloud-native applications
  • Contributing to the internal toolbox that helps us improve our processes, manage our/clients’ infrastructure, and scale the systems
  • Advising our customers on how to adopt the best possible service composition of public cloud-based services and tools 
  • Keep and improve the level of customer satisfaction (including on-call) - Supporting 24/7 production environments
  • Contributing to Nordcloud’s internal community, fostering a real continuous development

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Ability to think in an abstract way 
  • Background in Linux/Unix/Windows system administration
  • Experience in 24/7 monitoring and troubleshooting 
  • Experience in 1st and 2nd line support
  • Strong experience in supporting external customers
  • Strong communication skills, fluent English
  • Experience in network and security field 
  • "Hold my beer - I got this" attitude

Skills that would be a plus:

  • Previous experience working directly with external customers
  • German language
  • Experience working in international environments with geographically dispersed teams
  • Public cloud platform experience, with at least one of the following: AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Experience with Kubernetes
