Cloud Tooling Engineer

Currently, we're looking for Cloud Tooling Engineer for Managed Cloud Environments. 

As a Cloud Tooling Engineer in Nordcloud Poland you will be:

  • Working in squads fulfilling the mission “to automate the world”
  • Contributing to the development of internal tools and products
  • Developing automation and IaC
  • Improving our internal CI/CD processes
  • Minimizing toil of our squads with automation and code
  • Contributing to the internal toolbox that helps us improve our processes, manage our/clients’ infrastructure, and scale the systems
  • Contributing to Nordcloud’s internal community and enabling the best collaboration between colleagues

We would like you to have:

  • Strong programming background in at least one major programming language
  • Strong experience with containers - Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
  • Self-driven approach and abstract thinking
  • Experience with public cloud platform (at least one of the following: AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with using Shell, Git, and other basic development tools
  • Ability to evaluate projects from the technical and business perspective
  • Fluency in English

Bonus points if you have experience:

  • Working with large Terraform project (orchestrated with Terragrunt or another similar tool)
  • Working in international environments with a geographically dispersed team
  • Working with AWS EventBridge and developing event-driven applications
