Currently, we are looking for a person ready to join our UK team, and become Azure Solution Architect (pre-sales)

In this role, you will cooperate closely with our Head of Growth and you will take part in building a new, cross-functional team across different towers. As an Azure Solution Architect, you need to understand the public cloud market and Nordcloud’s value for the customer. We offer more than a service! You will be working with customers in the areas of finance, energy, manufacturing industries, consumer services or data platforms. Join a leading and rapidly growing public cloud provider in Europe!

Your role includes

• Advising and helping customers develop next-generation solutions that leverage the full potential of public cloud platforms in the pre-sales phase.
• Facilitating customer’s journey and translating business requirements to guide the implementation of technical designs and solutions.
• Running workshops and advising customers on architectural decisions and best practices to ensure their solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• Working together with the sales team and helping build proposals for our customers.
• Working as a bridge between the customer’s vision and our delivery and tech experts.
• Evangelizing about technologies we use and contributing to our specialist community.
• Being on top of your game! In this fast-changing space, Nordcloud regularly organizes training, hackathons, meetups, and courses.

To be a successful Azure Solution Architect we expect that:

• You are highly technical and analytical and possess significant hands-on experience in cloud-related projects.
• You have an understanding, interest, and willingness to learn even more about public cloud technology and architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• You are able to lead both our internal teams and customers on the cloud journey - you are not afraid of challenging the status quo.
• You have strong interpersonal and presentation skills and you are experienced in working with senior level stakeholders both in business and technical areas, at the customer interface and internally.
• You have fluent English skills.

As we have varying opportunities to work internationally, some readiness to travel in the United Kingdom and other locations in Europe is required. All applicants must have the right to work in the EU or in the United Kingdom.
