Senior Google Cloud Architect

We are digital builders born in the cloud and currently, we are looking for a Senior Google Cloud Architect.

Your daily work:

• Being a technical consultant toward developers and platform users and guiding them in the best use of the Google Cloud
• Taking part in the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions and services for our customers’ needs

Your skills and attributes of success:

• Public cloud platform expert knowledge of Google Cloud
• A background as Linux OR Windows system administrator or backend developer
• Coding/scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.) 
• Hands-on experience in creating solution architectures
• Designing and implementing landing zone architectures
• Infrastructure as code, i.e. Terraform, Deployment Manager, CDK, and similar
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines
• Production experience in container orchestration technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Swarm, or OpenShift)
• Willingness to experiment with and learn brand-new technologies
• Knowledge of on-premises technologies (e.g. VMware, OpenStack, or Hyper-V)
• Knowledge of security, network, virtualization, load balancer, storage, and database
• Active customer consultant and pre-sales attitude
• Fluent communication skills in English and German

Your super-powers (we’d consider any of these as a big plus):

• At least 1 year public cloud platform expert knowledge of AWS and/ or Azure
• Experience and knowledge of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or PCI Data Security Standard version 1.2 (PCI DSS)
• It’s an extra asset if you know or are willing to know more about Big Data/Machine Learning types of projects
