Event Specialist

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and detail-oriented Event Specialist to support our global calendar of marketing activities. You’ll be working with a welcoming and dynamic team in this fast-paced role, where you will be encouraged to develop your event management, creativity and communication skills.

As the Event Specialist, you will assist with planning, organising and executing the marketing calendar of events which includes b2b lead generation and employee branding events across EMEA, ensuring the delivery and high provable return on marketing investment. You have a passion for creating event experiences, building strong internal relationships and detailed end-to-end planning leading to effective ROI reporting.

This true event specialist will need to be entrepreneurial in spirit, and be able to deliver in a fast-paced and changing environment, working across multiple projects simultaneously to deliver exceptional results for one of Europe’s fastest growing tech businesses.
Summary of responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end coordination of various types of marketing events – webinars, in-person events, panel presentations & sponsored events.
  • Supervise events on-site making sure they run smoothly and to the highest standard.
  • Build strong relationships with external stakeholders and suppliers to ensure that all event objectives and deliverables are met.
  • Manage pre-event kick offs, agendas and status calls as well as complete post event reports and develop wash-ups/de-brief summaries to ensure lessons learned for future events.
  • Assist with promotional items for events including email marketing, social media, and light copywriting as needed.

What skills are we looking for?

  • Confident and professional with great social skills—you’ll need to work effectively with stakeholders & customers.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as a part of a team to hit pre-agreed targets.
  • Marketing automation and CRM experience – ideally including Salesforce and Pardot.
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • You love building stuff – as a growth company, we’re continuously developing our practices.
  • 1–3 years of proven events experience is desirable.
  • Must be willing to travel.
