Data Privacy Specialist

Nordcloud is looking for a Data Privacy Specialist for a permanent full-time position. This is a great opportunity for a person interested in deepening her/his understanding on data protection matters in a global, fast-paced environment. You will support and work closely with our DPO, as well as CISO and Legal team. The position is filled as soon as we find a suitable person for the role. 

 Your role:

  • Support in maintaining and developing Nordcloud´s data protection practices, documents and materials, such as data processing guidelines, DPIAs and Records of processing activities 
  • Support in drafting and reviewing data protection agreements (DPAs)
  • Assisting DPO and other Nordcloudians in all kind of privacy-related issues

 What skills are we looking for?

  • Master’s degree in law or other relevant Master’s degree (or final stage student)
  • Good understanding of the GDPR and other privacy legislation
  • Ability to work well both in a team and individually
  • A few years prior experience of data protection related tasks is a plus
  • CIPP-E or similar privacy certification is a plus
  • Interest in data security and risk management is a plus
  • Good command of English, other languages are a benefit
  • Good communication skills
  • Hands-on attitude and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines and manage own caseload
  • Curiosity on how privacy relates to digital technology and cloud services.
