To enable that growth, we’re looking for a Data Engineer to join our world-class team and help our customers gain the maximum benefits of the cloud.

As a Data Engineer, you are a key member of our team based in Austria. You can work remotely from any place in Austria (which means you don’t have to be based in Vienna where the office is located). 

Your role will be a key driver in the following areas (and many more):

  • Building systems for ingestion
  • Transformation and storage of vast amounts of data requires special expertise
  • Designing, architecting, and implementing modern cloud-based pipelines for our customers
  • Making data accessible and usable for a new wave of data-powered apps and services

What do you need to be successful in this role:

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional programming experience and hands-on experience in building modern data platforms/pipelines
  • 2+ years professional experience (hands-on) with cloud computing with AWS (AWS LINUX and AWS Lambda)/Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud
  • 2+ years professional experience (hands-on) with various Database technologies and ideally Data Lake (AWS/S3)
  • Programming skills, Python experience (ideally Django), and experienced in scripting RESTful AP
  • The ability to build processes that support data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
  • You have know-how with ETL tools
  • You are familiar with agile working methods
