Cloud Engineer

We’re looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our world-class team and help our customers gain the maximum benefits of the cloud.

At Nordcloud, Cloud Engineer is a pro with skills to build business applications in the cloud. As a core member of our client team, you will be creating effective electronic customer service and distribution channels, information services, online stores, and applications for the industrial internet.

What do you need to be successful in this role:

  • Good programming skills in one or more languages such as  Python, JS, TS, Go, and/or Java.
  • Experience in building Backends as Microservices and/or Cloud Native Serverless solutions  (using cloud functions) 
  • Good experience with building Interfaces (e.g REST APIs)
  • Hands-on experience with Databases (SQLs and/or NoSQLs and/or Graph …etc)
  • Good understanding of DevOps, and the ability to test and automate code using CI/CD pipelines
  • Good understanding of containerization and orchestration (as a bonus)
  • Good familiarity with one or more of the major clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP)

But more importantly, you are a quick learner of new technologies, frameworks, and languages, and adapt to modern web technologies. As we have varying opportunities to work internationally, the possibility to travel up to 25% in Germany and other locations in Europe.
