We’re looking for an Azure Cloud Architect to join our world-class team and help our customers gain the maximum benefits of the cloud.

As an Azure Cloud Architect, you’ll find yourself participating in various customer projects, from new infrastructure builds and migrations, to audits and big data. Day-to-day work can be anything from implementing configuration management infrastructure to taking a step back and giving workshops and design recommendations to a technical team. Furthermore, you will become a trusted advisor for high-profile enterprise businesses and jointly manage the customer relationship and roadmap with the Nordcloud Sales team.  All in all, you’ll have a selection of different ‘hats’ to put on and have the luxury of following customer projects from start to release.

Ideally, you’re bringing the following skills with you:

  • Hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge about MS Azure
  • A background as Linux/Windows system administrator or backend developer
  • Have a solid understanding of on-premises technologies (e.g. VMware, OpenStack, or Hyper-V)
  • Large scale application deployment and management
  • Creating solution architectures for availability, performance, and cost
  • Configuration management systems (Ansible or similar) and container technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Continuous integration/continuous deployment environments
  • Scripting skills

All in all, you have a solid engineering/technical background/hands-on experience with conceptualizing, strategizing and architecting cloud solutions. And it would also be a plus if you understand security, network, virtualization, load balancer, storage, and database.

Why is Nordcloud your next career move?

  • We’re continuously developing our business – that means, we’re not stuck with the attitude of doing things as they’ve always been done

  • A wide range of benefits like pension package, five weeks annual leave, Certificates paid, great tech equipment – high-end laptop and a smartphone of your choice
  • We grow together! There’s a possibility to gather valued certificates and participate in world-class courses and training – choose from various courses to ensure continuous learning with a personal training budget!
