Nordcloud appoints Nicolai Descovich to lead Nordcloud Austria, Help Companies Accelerate Shift to Cloud

Vienna, Austria, July 21  2022 -  Nordcloud, an IBM company (NYSE: IBM), today announced the appointment of Nicolai Descovich as its new Country Leader for Austria.

Since joining Nordcloud on July 1st, Descovich has been advising companies on cloud transformation journeys, helping them to maximise value from the cloud.

Bringing over 18 years of experience, expertise and insights from advising numerous companies in DACH on their journey to cloud, Descovich will support Austrian companies to overcome common challenges in the market. Leading the business in Austria he will drive the full cloud journey from the initial vision and strategy of how to move over to the cloud, to setting up the right governance and processes. In addition, the focus will be to  accompany cloud transformation by a cultural change of mindset and organisation, to deliver a winning competitive advantage through elasticity, transparency and higher automation in the operations.

In his previous role as Director Strategic Business Development at Kyndryl, Descovich‘s main focus was to lead the business development team in the Strategic Markets region to drive value creation for the business of Kyndryl‘s strategic enterprise clients and make a difference to their bottom-line. Previous to this he successfully led the Strategic Sales team in the DACH region as a Director at IBM, and managed the enterprise service, storage and network division at Hewlett-Packard.
